Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour
Saturday, September 19 – Sunday, September 20 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM 📍 Self-guided, starting at the Welcome Center, Culpeper Agriculture Enterprise (Route 29) or any participating farm

Nine carefully selected farms and ag-related businesses across the Blue Ridge foothills open their gates for this county-wide, self-guided driving tour — hands-on demonstrations, educational stops, and a look at the agriculture that's the backbone of Culpeper County. The Welcome Center at Culpeper Ag Enterprise adds free face painting, antique tractors, the Piedmont Railroaders model train display, and the Culpeper Farm Corner featuring products from farms not on the main route. Eastern View High School FFA students run kids' activities Saturday; Culpeper County High School FFA takes Sunday. Most stops sell lunch, snacks, plants, herbs, or gift-shop items along the way, and a new digital passport lets you map your route and track which farms you've hit.

Know before you go: Free to tour. Some farms sit on long driveways or private roads — drive slow. Rain or shine, though individual farms may adjust for weather. Bonus: pair it with a stop on Culpeper's Sips of Culpeper trail — 7 wineries, breweries, and distilleries scattered around the same farm country.

Two days of live music with Jack White, Portugal. The Man, Geese, and more, plus a full spread of Richmond food and drink flanking the two main stages. Hardywood hosts a free kickoff pre-party Friday if you want to make a weekend of it.

Charlottesville

Charlottesville's largest Latin American cultural celebration — nine hours of live music and dance, food, artisan crafts, and a kids' Parade of Flags under the big tent, rain or shine. $15 at the door, kids 12 and under free.
