The Fredericksburg Convention Center is doing double duty this weekend — 250+ vendor tables of trading cards and collectibles on one side, wake boats and jet skis on the other. Friday alone is stacked: a concert series, four different game-store tournaments, comedy, poetry, karaoke, a DJ night, and a weavers guild meetup all competing for your evening. Downtown, absinthe history meets a tasting at the Apothecary, and Saturday's stacked with car shows, a back-to-school bash, and enough live music to fill the whole night.

Cardboard Capital "TCG Zenith" Show
Saturday, August 8 – Sunday, August 9 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM both days 📍 Fredericksburg Convention Center

Formerly PokeBurg, now Cardboard Capital's biggest show yet — 250+ vendor tables buying, selling, and trading cards, collectibles, toys, and plushies. Special guests include Beard Dad Cardz, PokeSean, FufuCollects, Erik from Violet City, and Costello Cards, plus a kids scavenger hunt, giveaways, a Master Set Station for finishing bulk sets, a bounty board, TCG-themed tattoo artists, and food concessions all weekend.

Admission is $7 per person per day, kids 12 and under free, parking's free.

Makin' Bacon Foundation Event 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Dogtopia of Fredericksburg, 4272 Plank Rd A $5 donation gets your pup two pieces of turkey bacon during naptime, with proceeds sponsoring a service dog through the Dogtopia Foundation.

An Evening of Absinthe at the Apothecary Two sessions: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM & 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop, 1020 Caroline St A guided garden tour of absinthe's traditional ingredients, a history of the "green liquor," and a tasting with charcuterie to close it out. $30 per session, 21+, non-refundable after four days.
